Is it just me or are machine wheel bases in this country not designed for garage workshops? I always find that unless the floor surface is flat as a witches boobs then it’s a chore moving heavy kit around.
I saw a recent video from the USA where they can get wheel bases with wider and bigger wheels which are more forgiving, has anyone seen something similar on this side of he pond?
You could just try fitting better casters or even larger wheels or double wheels. That’s what I do and there’s loads of options out there. On my band saw because it only had legs that splayed out slightly I also braced them with a couple of pieces of angle iron from B&Q across the front and back legs to stiffen it up when moving it around.
