Can anybody identify this plane that I have recently acquired? It looks very similar to an Ulmia but it has no trademark on the body or on the iron.
Looks like an Ulmia smoother but I suspect it’s a ‘knock off’. I have and Ulmia ‘Reform’ smoother with a pearwood body and lignum sole which is a very pleasant thing to have under the workbench, even though it’s never (the plane, not the workbench 
) planed a shaving in anger.
