FS30G vs AT310SPT

Anyone have any thoughts or experience of FS30G vs AT310SPT… wondering which one would be better?

Sorry, can’t help with those two machines, but if the slightly smaller ‘260’ size would do, I can recommend the iTech spiral PT from Scott & Sargeant (sorry, but as much as I like Axminster, a £300+ saving is worth having). I’ve had mine for about 9 months and given it a fair bit of work on oak, yew and cedar mainly and, apart from some initial tweaking to set the outfeed table accurately, it has performed perfectly. A nice ‘extra’ over the AT260PT is that the tables are linked, so converting from planing to thicknessing is quick and easy. Strangely though, the iTech 300 is significantly dearer than Axminster’s 310. good luck!
