Hello. I recently upgraded from an axminster hobby lathe to an Axminster Professional AP406WL Woodturning Lathe. I want to use my old chucks but the thread is different, m33 x 3.5 on the new lathe to 1 x 8tpi on the chuck. I’ve tried 2 converters and failed. Can you please tell me which one I need! Thank you.

I had same the problem about 4 or 5 years ago. Had a bench top lathe 1” x 8tpi and bought AT406 ,the same as yours. I bought an adapter from Charnwood but it seems they don’t have them on their site any more. Went into Amazon and it is there £23.85. Charnwood headstock thread adapter M33x3.5 to 1””x8tpi made by vip Eric. Worked perfectly for me. Hope thes helps.
