Lathe points not in line

Hello. I bought a lathe from HBM and when I bring the points together to touch in ordre to check in line accuracy - they are way off in both planes… I regret buying it and should have gone for an Axminster table top lathe. does anyone know of any way to get these points lined up ?

Axminster do a spindle centering tool but I can’t find the number for it, so you should talk to them. You can buy them and I believe they are sold as an accessory.
