Recommendations for Cabinet Builds?

Hey folks,

I’ve been getting more into woodworking lately and I’m about to start a cabinet-making project for my home shop. I’m still figuring out the best joinery methods and finishes for durability, so I’d love to hear what you guys recommend for cabinet builds especially tips on hinges, drawer slides, or finishes that hold up over time.

Also, I’m Looking to Buy Wood Maintenance Products in Canada and came across “Saicos”. Has anyone here tried their finishes on cabinets or furniture? Curious if they perform as well as they claim.

Appreciate any advice or experiences you can share! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m sorry, but you need to be a LOT more specific about what you’re trying to build. What cabinet making or woodworking experience do you have, what type of tools do you have, how big is your workshop etc etc. All of these types of questions are pertinent and will determine what you can or can’t build.

One thing I will say to be positive and point you in the right direction of travel is NOT to use drawer slides on anything other than units in a kitchen; you won’t see them in the best high end cabinets.
