Hi - I have a Sieg SC2 lathe and want to adapt the leadscrew to have a handwheel at the tailstock end. Has anyone ever done this conversion/addition? I have looked online and there are videos of other lathes that have been coverted, but no details. The reason for doing this is because I am fitting a vertical slide milling attachment so need a fine manual feed in the X axis. Any help would be great.
