My Axminster ct330 thicknesses will only height adult jus a small amount then one side goes higher than the other could this be due too the cogs on the bottom being worn ?
Turn it upside down, The teeth on the bevel gears should be really sharp, Any blunt teeth will skip. I refurbished another make for a mate. Surprisingly, I could still get them I think £20 for the set. Give Axminster a call to see if you can get them as a spare part. Also, when you strip it. clean all the carp out of it and KEEP IT CLEAN!
