What about your other hobbies?

Let’s share our hobbies here! What sport do you like doing in your free time? I am personally a big fan of table football. It is how we usually spend our free time within my family. Some useful articles for those who want to start foosball:

Good thread Reon.
I am a photographer here in Devon, couldn’t think of a better place to be (just outside Exeter, Not far from the Moors).

Not entirely convinced that this is the right place to be discussing things other than stuff to do with our connection to Axminster; examples may be woodwork or metalwork. However, I’m very happy to be corrected by a majority who see otherwise.

When you are at work all sorts of subject are talked about. It’s the same in any gathering and the subject will run back and forth over different things. I have no qualms about peoples hobbies being aired.

My 2 main hobbies are RC model glider building/flying and photography and at the moment I am flogging my way through a long project. I think that I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Not a train I hope :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

It’s a 1/4 scale model of a 1936 German glider called a DFS Habicht. 3.45m span and traditionally built, balsa and ply. So it has a very close connection with wood working. The ply ranges fro 1/8th inch to 1/64th and that is quite interesting to work with!

Mine should look like the red/white model, I hope!

I am looking forward to the maiden when I get to chucking it off of one of the hill sides around Stroud
