Workshop Spaces

We love seeing where creativity happens. Whether your workspace is a dedicated workshop, a cosy shed, a corner of your garage, or something completely unique, we want to see it! Share a photo of your setup and inspire fellow woodworkers and DIY enthusiasts. Big or small, tidy or well-used – every space tells a story. Send us your pictures and let’s celebrate the amazing places where projects come to life.

I’ve been doing woodwork for a few years now and am working out of a single garage which also needs to hold the gardening stuff and motorbike. I’m just reorganising a bit to accommodate my new lathe. My other advantage is that being a single guy there’s no one to complain if I do a glue-up in the lounge whilst watching the telly!

I have looked at the pictures of members workshops and I should like to upload a picture of mine.

However, I don’t know how to upload a picture. Can you help?

Thanks. Bob Humble,

I thought others might like this picture of my

workshop. I have a disability (also I am 89). and can’t stand up at the lathe. I am a long time wood turner. I was a design technology teacher and used to turn on a Harrison Jubilee in my spare time. I later inherited the lathe when “health and safety “ decided it was not suitable and scrapped it. As you can see I have graduated (with Colwn Way’s advice) to the AT355WL I am now happily turning, sitting at my lathe. I hope I can assure anyone with a disability can, and should , have a go at wood turning.

Cheers Bob Humble.
